LSG vs DC IPL 2022 Match 45 Highlights – May 1

Krishnappa Gowtham: We are not thinking forward and are taking one game at a time. We are playing well as a team. We’re sticking to the plan. Playing against world-class bats is difficult. Preparations don’t guarantee results. On a given day, you’ll have to assess the conditions and play accordingly. The heat is high, and so is the humidity. But we are professionals and will enjoy the heat.

Indian Premier League 2022 Points Table

Krunal Pandya: (In the last game) I read the pitch well, varied pace, and pulled the lengths back. (On pre-season prep) Because of playing short format games for a while, sometimes you want to squeeze out overs and dart the ball, I got used to that. So I thought if I can impart spin or get the bounce, I can get better. So I did one-stump bowling, bowled tall, and tried to spin the ball. My reading of the batter’s mindset has always been good, the change from contentment to wicket-taking has helped. So does being smarter. The leadership, and taking responsibility have been great, I enjoy it and see it as an opportunity. Going forward, I’d love to contribute further and take the team forward.

Indian Premier League 2022 Fixture

Prithvi Shaw: We are doing well in general but some games have slipped at the end. We are trying to follow processes in the middle and it was evident in the last game. So things are going well. (On personal prep) There was Ranji before the tournament, but there was the practice before the IPL started in the nets. I was trying to get used to playing with David Warner as well. Our partnership has started well, we have 4 50-run stands. We are focused but he’s jovial which has kept me calm in the middle.

Lucknow Super Giants vs Delhi Capitals Highlights today, Sunday 1-5-2022. 45th Match (D/N), Tata Indian Premier League from Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

LSG win the toss and choose to bat first.

KL Rahul: feels it is a good wicket, their objective is to put up a par score and defend. He says the aim is to bat smart, people can repeat mistakes and do it unintentionally, but the batters have accepted it. Avesh misses out for K Gowtham as he is coming back from an injury. The pitch looked dry and the left-handers in the opposition led to the decision.
Rishabh Pant: It’s a new wicket, we were double-minded so the toss loss is okay. Our mantra has been staying positive. We are playing the same team. The heat is not the only factor for the toss, team preferences matter too. Anrich is coming off nicely at the practice and is getting better.

Lucknow Super Giants team: 1 KL Rahul (capt), 2 Quinton de Kock (wk), , 3 Deepak Hooda, 4 Krunal Pandya, 5 Marcus Stoinis, 6 Ayush Badoni, 7 Jason Holder, 8 Mohsin Khan, 9 Krishnappa Gowtham, 10 Dushmantha Chameera, 11 Ravi Bishnoi
Delhi Capitals team: 1 Prithvi Shaw, 2 David Warner, 3 Mitchell Marsh, 4 Rishabh Pant (capt, wk), 5 Lalit Yadav, 6 Rovman Powell, 7 Axar Patel, 8 Shardul Thakur, 9 Kuldeep Yadav, 10 Mustafizur Rahman, 11 Chetan Sakariya

Rovman Powell: Belief in my ability, getting the opportunity, and taking it as they come have helped build confidence. The team has taken me in, accepted us and it has felt like a family. (On batting position) It’s important to focus on the strike rate, over 150 generally gets the job done. (On bowling) I have told the skip that I can bowl, I haven’t done much so far. But the team has done well too, so credit to them.

Indian Premier League 2022 Teams

Deepak Hooda: “I’m enjoying batting at 3, I play up the order in domestic cricket too. I’m used to the heat, having played in these conditions all my life. This is a good pitch, but the slower balls are gripping. We didn’t speak about any target, but the intent for every ball was the same. This is a very good total on this pitch, but we’ll need to keep taking wickets at regular intervals.”
