Mitchell Marsh:

Bowling because it’s a fresh wicket, hope to get a look at it and keep them to a low score. Spencer Johnson is having a rest, Behrendorff in; Zampa comes in for Sangha. Harsh for Sangha to miss out after taking a four-for in the last game but Zamps has been incredible for a long time and comes right back in. We want to double down after everything we did in the first game. Hope to put a good performance and win the series. The aggression was natural in the last game, hopefully that’s from the environment we’ve created. Young guys coming in, Short hitting his second ball for six. That’s the sort of cricket you want to see. We were 4 for 70 and got a bit lucky but hopefully another win tonight.

Aiden Markram:

The turnaround between T20s is quite short, so it’s almost like the first game for us. Nonetheless, it’s a new day and we weren’t stoked with our performance the other day. It’s an opportunity to start afresh. One change: Fortuin in for Jansen, who’s gone back for his sister’s wedding. We were rusty the last game, still lots of lessons to take out. We’ve had discussions on rectifying things and being sharper. Our intensity for an international game was lower from the start. Emphasis on starting well and seeing how far we can take it. Series being on the line is exciting. Nice to be involved in pressure games. Hope to level the series.

Aiden Markram:

Temba got us off to a great start. Loss of wickets made it challenging. Wanted to take it deep. When they came on to bat, it can be hard when there are two batters trying to muscle it out of the ground. Finding a way to compete is what it’s about and that’s what they did.

Mitchell Marsh:

It’s great. Proud of the boys. Series win in SA is hard to come by. Tonight, the game was set up by the bowlers. Always tough to leave out players. Spencer was rested, he’ll have a role to play in the ODIs. Great to have Jason. Not every day you get the chance to get a 3-0 win. Hope we do it in front of a big crowd.

Sean Abbott, POTM:

The pitch suited the bowlers. For most of the night, we got that right. Credit should go to the batters, great intent. Hundred partnership on that wicket was great. Dressing-room atmosphere is great. One of Mitch’s great strengths is he takes the pressure off you.
