South Africa won 15 of them and Sri Lanka won 16 of them and Sri Lanka won 15 of them.
Now Sri Lanka lost three test matches series and won three t20 matches series in South Africa and they got a lot of confidence by gaining that victory. In ODI format South Africa is much strong then Sri Lanka but they recently won the Zimbabwe Tri-Nation series and West Indies team was included in that series.
