Babar Azam scored 62 runs off 109 balls, Asad Shafiq 43, Haris Sohail 38, Azhar Ali 22 and Mohammad Hafeez contributed 20 runs. TA Boult took four wickets, C de Grandhomme took two wickets as same as AY Patel who also took two wickets, N Wagner and IS Sodhi took one wicket each of them. Till stumps day two New Zealand trail by 18 runs with 9 wickets remaining.
