Day 2 Report.
At stumps, day two New Zealand trail by 115 runs with 4 wickets remaining in the innings. JM Bairstow † completed his century, he scored 101 runs off 170 deliveries. he smashed eleven 4s and a maximum in his innings. When his wicket dismissed then it was 96.5 and 307/10. MA Wood’s contribution at the end of England’s innings was a good help, he scored 52 runs off 62 balls. England all out at 307 in 96.5 overs. TA Boult took four wickets and TG Southee took six wickets. From New Zealand innings KS Williamson (c) scored 22, BJ Watling † 77 not out, C de Grandhomme 72.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to field.
