India batted first after winning the toss and scored 377 runs with five wickets down in fifty overs. The opener of the team RG Sharma faced 137 deliveries and scored 162 runs. Today he scored seventh time his 150 plus runs. He smashed twenty boundaries and four maximums in his beautiful innings.

S Dhawan smashed four boundaries and two 6s in his innings, he scored 38 runs off 40 balls and out. The captain of the team V Kohli had not survived for so long this time and out with scoring 16 runs. AT Rayudu scored his century off 81 deliveries, he completed his innings with the help of eight 4s and four 6s. MS Dhoni † contributed 23 runs, KM Jadhav 16 and RA Jadeja 7.

West Indies all out with 153 runs in 36.2 Overs. JO Holder (c) 54 not out, KMA Paul 19, MN Samuels 18, C Hemraj 14, SO Hetmyer 13 and FA Allen 10. KK Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav took equal wickets and they took six wickets. B Kumar and RA Jadeja took one wicket each of them.

India won the toss and elected to bat.
