India vs New Zealand 5th ODI Highlights 10-29-2016

Watch Ind v NZ fifth ODI Full HD highlights today from Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam (India), Saturday 29th October 2016. After watching many thrills in the last match confusion increased all around in fans of both countries by the victory of NZ.

Now series is still alive because both teams won equal matches by 2-2 and today’s match will be the final ODI between NZ & Ind and today is the day of decision-making day for both sides. India got the highest total record on that ground and it is 356 with nine down in 2005 v Pakistan but without that match, India scored second highest 292 v Australia, third 288 v West Indies. It means India’s average highest total in that ground is between 260 to 290.

V Kohli is the most runs scorer in that venue with 334 runs off 344 balls in three innings, MS Dhoni is at second position with 199 runs. I think it will be the first ODI for New Zealand in this ground which is not good news for them.

V Kohli is the most runs scorer from last four matches with 293 runs off 279 balls and his highest score was 154 not out, TWM Latham got the second position with 225 runs, KS Williamson 184, MS Dhoni 151 and AM Rahane 111. A Mishra took ten wickets in the last four ODI’s in 38.5 overs with 197 runs, TG Southee took seven wickets off 37.3 overs and 204 runs and UT Yadav took also seven wickets in 37 overs.

Toss: India have won the toss and will bat first.

The cyclone Kyant, which threatened to hit Visakhapatnam, has weakened into a deep depression, but there is a forecast for showers on Friday and thunderstorm on Saturday. There were heavy showers on Thursday night as well, but the curator, K Nagamallaiah, said the ground staff had covered 80% of the outfield.

On Saturday, the pitch appeared bald and devoid of any grass, even as the outfield remained lush. “The rain won’t have any effect on the pitch. It will remain good for batting and have good bounce,” he said.

In Ranchi, New Zealand had replaced Corey Anderson and Matt Henry with two spinners in Ish Sodhi and Anton Devcich. Taylor felt the six-bowler dynamic gave captain Kane Williamson greater latitude. Williamson and Mike Hesson will probably have to choose between the extra batting muscle of Anderson and the extra spin option of Devcich.

Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Umesh Yadav were among those that did not feature in India’s optional training session. Dhoni had an extended hit in the spinners’ net and, along with Jadhav, practiced the sweep for a considerable length of time. Jasprit Bumrah appeared to have regained his fitness and will likely take Dhawal Kulkarni’s place in the XI. India is unlikely to tinker with the side too much otherwise.
