Australia first wicket down at 112 which means they got a very good start. UT Khawaja has not survived for so long and he goes with scoring five runs. SE Marsh contributed 47 runs and TM Head 58.
Till stumps day one Australia scored 277 runs with six wickets down. I Sharma bowled sixteen overs and gave 35 runs with taking two wickets. GH Vihari took two wickets in fourteen overs with leaking 53 runs. JJ Bumrah took one wicket as same as UT Yadav who also took one wicket. Indian team selectors have surprised by not including a specialist spinner in the playing XI.
