Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat.
DM de Silva scored 173 runs off 229 balls, he completed his innings with the help of 21 boundaries and a maximum, when his wicket taken then it happen like this: 82.5 and 308/2. ARS Silva scored 109, LD Chandimal (c) 87, N Dickwella † 62, MDK Perera 32, HMRKB Herath 24 and RAS Lakmal 9. Taijul Islam took four Sri Lankan batsman’s wickets, Mehidy Hasan Miraz took three, Sunzamul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman these two took one wicket each of them.
