Eng v Aus highlights today – Fifth test day two from Sydney Cricket Ground (Australia) Friday 5th January 2018. England scored 233 runs with five down in 81.4 overs at day one. AN Cook opener of the England team scored 39 runs off 104 balls. He smashed just three 4s in his innings. When his wicket dismissed then it was 32.3 and 95/3. MD Stoneman tried his best by scoring runs with the strike rate off 100, he scored 24 runs off 24 balls, when he got out then it was 9.5 and 28/1.

England won the toss and elected to bat.

JM Vince faced 54 balls and scored 25 runs. Captain of the team JE Root scored 83 runs off 141 balls and out when it was 80.3 and 228/4. DJ Malan contributed 55 runs off 160 balls not out, JM Bairstow † had not survived for so long this time and got out with five runs. JR Hazlewood and PJ Cummins these two took two wickets each of them and remaining one wicket was taken by MA Starc.
