Australia vs England 4th Test Day 5 Highlights – Dec 30, 2017

Eng v Aus highlights today – Fourth test day five from Melbourne Cricket Ground (Australia) Saturday 30th December 2017. Almost 45 overs lost in yesterday’s play because of rain. England had a huge chance of victory in this 4th test but now it does not look like that. But England bowlers still may do something special today. Till stumps day 4 Australia trail by 61 runs with 8 wickets remaining.

CT Bancroft opener of the Australian team smashed four 4s and scored 27 runs after that his wicket dismissed by CR Woakes. When his wicket down then it was 15.4 bowled him! Another drag-on! What a giveaway, England were starting to look resigned to a long fruitless toil, but Woakes plugged away on a tight line and induced another aberration from the under-fire opener 51/1.

UT Khawaja faced 14 balls and scored 11 runs When his wicket dismissed then it was 21.1 edged and gone! Just enough nip off the seam from a perfect line, and Khawaja is caught in two minds on the crease as Bairstow gathers the nick! 65/2. DA Warner faced 140 balls and scored 40 runs not out, SPD Smith (c) faced 67 balls and scored 25 runs not out.

Toss: Australia , elected to bat first.
